Ann Bassey is a Human Resources and Administration Expert with over 12years of experience with a passion for leading, inspiring and developing others. At Yiaga Africa, she reviews, oversees and executes high-level organizational and management policies and is responsible for working with various department heads to recruit and support new projects. She also regularly manages strategic resource modeling and adherence to government regulations and legal protocols.

She has strong business acumen and a proven track record of successful HR program/process execution, which facilitates the attainment of system strengthening and efficiency for organizations. She is a strategic thinker with the ability to achieve results while building relationships at all levels of the organization. She possesses a high level of EQ and is dedicated to promoting a positive, productive work environment for management and staff.  
Prior to joining Yiaga Africa, she worked in various human resource roles in member companies of the Silverbird Group.

She is also a motivational coach and has successfully trained several HR Managers in other organizations on Global trends in human resources service delivery as well as consulted for various organizations on restructuring and process improvements. 

Ann holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Psychology from the Nnamdi Azikwe University and a Post-Graduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management. She is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management and is currently undergoing her Masters’ Degree in Public Health from the University of Suffolk.
