Sule is the Manager, Audit & Compliance and heads the department at Yiaga Africa. He leads the integration of information from across the organization to strengthen governance, enhance internal control systems, and assist in strategic risk management while ensuring transparency in reporting, compliance with applicable laws and standards and the optimization of resources, costs and processes. He also contributes to the identification and documentation of best- fit practices.  

Prior to joining Yiaga Africa, Sule was the Internal Auditor at Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) responsible for providing assurance services for NSIA Umuahia Diagnostic Centre. He has considerable experience in his career spanning over 17 years in Finance & Accounts, Audit, Internal Control & Compliance, and Risk Management both in not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. He is an Associate (ACA) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate (ACTI) of The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), a Final Stage Professional Student Member of The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) and at the final stage (strategic professional student level) of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants – ACCA for the prequalifying examinations leading to the award of ACCA Certification.

Sule holds a BSc. in Accounting and a Masters’ in Business Administration degree, both from National Open University of Nigeria after his initial training as a chemical engineer. He has also successfully completed professional development courses from The University of Washington, United States on Leadership and Management, Project Management and Economic Evaluations.
