Moshope Adediran joined Yiaga Africa as a Finance Officer in 2017. He works on the WatchingTheVote project, manages Yiaga Africa’s staff payroll; supports grants management analysis; and is involved in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and grant-related reports and schedules to support financial reports to the board.
When he became a member of the Yiaga Africa staff, Moshope brought 5 years of experience, including three spent as an audit staff with a public accountant, with responsibilities spanning audit, tax, financial reporting and business management. He served for two years as an accountant for a consulting firm, where he prepared the monthly closing and various reports for different portfolios, conducted various analyses to ensure the portfolios complied with regulations; and prepared quarterly and annual financial statements.
Moshope is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), A graduate member of Nigerian Institute of Management NIM (Chartered) and holds Master’s and Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting from Nasarawa State University and University of Jos respectively. His most outstanding job qualities are his diligence about resolving technical problems, communicating with people, and being totally trustworthy.
